Key Responsibilities:
KBR is seeking a qualified early career Systems Engineer to support our customer in Chantilly, VA.
- Systems: Candidates will perform multiple roles as part of a multi-disciplined systems engineering team.
- Requirements: The team develops requirements, allocates them to sub-system and system-level functions, performs analysis of performance and structures, documents and executes system and software testing, verification, validation and transition to operations.
- Goals: The focus is on achieving program goals in cost, schedule and technical performance.
- Support: This position could support multiple contracts concurrently with an emphasis on maximizing the candidates’ learning opportunities across a wide variety of the world’s most complex space and ground intelligence systems.
- Configuration: Significant early-phase focus is on systems engineering processes in requirements, physical and digital interfaces, configuration management and technical changes processes.
- Software: The candidate will be given opportunities to learn agile software development, integration, test and deployment within the Scaled Agile Frameworks for Enterprise (SAFE) software development approach model.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI
- Education: BS degree in Engineering, Applied Science or Information Technology fields
- Experience: 1 – 3 years’ experience
Desired:
- DOD: Experience working in DoD or IC preferred

Basic Compensation: $122,400.00 - $183,600.00
Offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
