Ideal candidate will have significant experience with implementing global payroll, driving strategy, and leadership of global operations. Job Description
Core Responsibilities
People Leadership and Strategy:
- Lead a global payroll team to consistently process accurately and timely payrolls, implement process improvements and automation to drive efficiency for over 15 countries across multiple regions EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.
- Overseeing the planning, execution, and successful deployment of new or upgraded global payroll systems across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations, data accuracy, and seamless integration with existing HR and financial systems, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficient payroll processes on a global scale.
- Manage the team’s performance and delegates effectively and holding direct reports accountable.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for all international locations, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Ensure the security, privacy, and compliance of payroll platforms in accordance with global regulations including GDPR and other country regulations.
- Consistently meet internal SLA’s and KPI’s to improve performance metrics to provide a clear measure of service quality, identifies areas for improvement, ensures accountability
Process Optimization and Technology:
- Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
- Assists with preparing and maintaining the annual operating goals of Payroll department; measures corresponding outcome and projected results.
- Focus on building a culture of continuous improvement ensuring efficient and consistent employee experience and delivering operation excellence.
- Implement strong standards for ongoing training and documentation for all processes and activities.
Stakeholder Management:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams across different regions.
- Partner with technology to evaluate external relationships and ensure vendors are meeting SLA’s and delivering high-quality solutions and services.
