Become a part of a high-performing OSINT production team that is having positive impacts across the full range of military intelligence issue areas.
Based in Patrick Space Force Base, Florida, you will support a federated team of OSINT collectors and practitioners conducting strategic, operational, and tactical Open Source Intelligence exploitation and production. As an OSINT Tech Editor, you play an important role in conveying sensitive and often highly technical information to senior decision makers and members of the US Intelligence Community.
You have a demonstrated aptitude and appreciation for the English language, as well as a collaborative nature that allows you to work well with experts across a range of disciplines and cultural backgrounds.
Ideally you have a mix of AOR expertise, intellectual curiosity, communications skills, customer-focus, and operational experience to improve the quality of our intelligence products in partnership with a highly qualified, highly motivated team. We know you are a motivated, self-driven team player who can multi-task and interact well with others and advise/consult with other team members on complex global issues.
Primary Responsibilities
You will be responsible for editing, proofreading and providing writing support on technical OSINT information reports prepared by our team’s language-enabled and OSINT Collectors. Duties include ensuring documents meet editorial and government specifications and adhering to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format and style. You will work with the Collectors to ensure editorial changes retain the essential elements of the collection and cultural nuance, while improving the overall work product.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent specialized language education & training with at least 4 years of professional experience in a writing- or editing-intensive field, such as journalism, intelligence analysis, or tech writing, or a Master’s degree with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret security clearance and willing to submit to Polygraph
- Strong mastery of English grammar and formal writing styles
- Ability to write reports and provide context to data
- Self-starter with curious mindset and desire to solve problems and learn new skills
- Strong organizational skills, time-management skills, attention to detail, and strong initiative
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior OSINT experience, particularly drafting or editing of OSIRs
- Current TS/SCI is preferred
- Master’s degree or equivalent
- Experience with the DIA Style Manual

Pay Range:
Pay Range $61,750.00 - $111,625.00
