Overview
ABM is hiring a Sales Training & Onboarding Specialist to work with our Sales Enablement team, to implement top-quality in-person and virtual professional learning programs in support of ABM’s Sales professional development needs specifically, onboarding. In this highly visible and collaborative position, the incumbent will partner closely with Sales Enablement team member sand Sales VPs to understand current and future onboarding initiatives, so that the learning approach supports their goals. This role will lead the components of Onboarding including Instructional System Design, Project Management, and professional learning strategy, in addition to owning overall learning curriculums.
This is a Hybrid Role (in-office Tue/Wed/Thu) located in our Atlanta office at: 4151 Ashford Dunwoody Road, Atlanta, GA 30319
Essential Functions
- Revise and maintain the Sales Onboarding Program for newly hired sales professionals and sales support colleagues.
- Develop new learning programs to support ABM Sales Initiatives.
- Liaison between Sales SME’s and executives and learning assets that support the onboarding professional learning components.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to coordinate training requirements and act as a Learning SME and consultant.
- Anticipate, recommend, and manage the learning requirements of the Onboarding process including tools and resources for use in instruction and demonstration by learners and facilitators.
- Ensure quality, consistency and branding for all produced learning artifacts.
- Assist in the selection and relationship maintenance of trusted SME training partners to deliver engaging instructional design, hands-on facilitation, and hybrid learning.
- Develop and update learning content in PowerPoint, Word, Articulate Rise and other instructional software.
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and knowledge transfer.
Scope Factors (i.e. Revenue Scope, Assets Scope, Budget Scope, Profit/Loss Scope, Supervisory Scope)
- Sales Operations supporting all Industry Groups (IG's) and Sales Support teams.
- Works with a variety of IG SMEs to assess learning materials and events and makes recommendations as needed.
Qualifications – Education & Experience
- 5+ years demonstrated success in facilitating learning & development initiatives and programs, including L&D needs analysis and evaluation, curriculum and content design, and instructional methodologies and modalities for adult learners in a Corporate or Education environment
- 2+ years as an Instructional Designer with a successful track record in the design and delivery of eLearning, quick reference cards/guides, video creation and editing, and facilitation/participant guides.
- Bachelor’s Degree (education, human resources, business, etc.)
- Intimate knowledge of Instructional Design and Adult Learning methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, SharePoint, particularly as used in the development of instructional content.
- Proven track record of working successfully in fast-paced environments that require superior collaboration skills and on-time execution.

- Dynamic facilitation and presentation ability, excellent written and verbal skills, and strong motivational style with demonstrated ability to influence.
- Ability to work successfully with both on-site and remote teams.
- Strong prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple competing deliverables is required.
- Possesses a degree of emotional intelligence and can be flexible to adapt easily in a changing environment.
Working Environment and Travel Requirements
- Hybrid work environment reporting 3 days into the Dunwoody office
- Up to 25% travel
- Work hours must accommodate all time zones of the US as needed
