Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to direct the accounting and shared service teams responsible for maintaining Lowe’s corporate procurement systems, corporate payables activities that ensure the accurate and timely processing and recording of financial transactions to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders. Corporate payables accounting activities directed by this role include a combination of the following activities: functional support of PeopleSoft/Oracle source-to-payment systems, indirect invoice exception processing (non-trade),finance call center support team, vendor payment set up and maintenance, as well as corporate travel and expense. Additionally, this role provides seasoned knowledge to Company initiatives that impact procurement/payment systems and/or payables accounting processes. Also responsible for developing and maintaining an internal control structure that ensures the integrity of the data that is used for the company's financial reporting.
What you will do
Leads several teams within the corporate payables department.
Manages a team of individual contributors and/or managers in the US and India
Builds partnerships with sourcing, merchandising, vendors, and other functional areas to ensure processing efficiencies.
Oversees the continued development of procurement and payables systems for the payables function.
Finance call center that supports stores/supply chain inquiries
Ensures timely payment of all vendor invoices and expense vouchers.
Ensures the maintenance of accurate records and control reports.
Reviews applicable accounting reports to ensure financial accuracy.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 8-10 years' experience in Accounting role within a large corporation
3-5 years' experience leading teams
Experience working with merchandising functions.
