Description:Responsible for implementing the Software Quality Engineering mission to ensure programs have and are compliant to documented processes which meet customer and company requirements and are capable of producing quality software products. The successful applicant will do this independently by performing process, product, and acquisition evaluations, and periodic supplier audits throughout the development, production, and sustainment lifecycles. In addition, the applicant will utilize quality engineering methods, concepts, and software tools to identify, communicate and drive to resolution needed improvements to software development processes. The applicant will provide program senior management with metrics, reports, schedules, estimates for tasking and other support as necessary. Must be willing to travel and work off-shift and weekends, when needed. Ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required.

Basic Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Knowledgeable in all of the following areas: Supplier Auditing, Inspection and Evaluation, Agile and DevSecOps Practices, Defect Prevention, Quantitative Methods and Tools, Continual Improvement and Lean Methodologies, Risk Mitigation, and Root Cause Analysis.
* Experience with details of individual aspects of the software lifecycle (e.g., Requirements, Design, Coding, Unit Testing, Formal Testing, Integration & Testing, Release, Configuration Management, and Problem Resolution).
* Demonstrated experience with data analytics (eg., statistical analysis and/or metrics.)
* Experience in managing Software Supplier Surveillance and Control activities. Evaluate Software Supplier Projects and Software Products to assure conformance to program software development plans, software acquisition management plans, and applicable process descriptions, standards, and procedures.
Desired Skills:* Experience independently developing process evaluation, product evaluation, and supplier audit checklists from company, program and project command media.
* Experience effectively interfacing with a variety of senior management and employee levels.
* Familiar with the individual aspects of the software lifecycle (e.g., Requirements, Design, Coding, Unit Testing, Formal Testing, Integration & Testing, Release, Configuration Management, and Problem Resolution).
* Well versed in Agile methodologies
* Well versed in AS9100/AS9115
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and able to quickly learn other tools and applications required to perform job duties.
* Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication, and presentations as well as resolving issues with multiple organizations.
* Experience working within a diverse team in identifying root causes and resolution of complex issues.
* Experience working within a Software Development organization as a Software Product Manager (SPM).

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
