Description:We are Lockheed Martin You will be the Systems Engineer, Modeling & Simulation Senior Staff for the Simulation & System Labs (SSL) Team. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining Aviation Simulation Systems utilized for systems development from concept design through production and delivery.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Systems Engineer, Modeling & Simulation Senior Staff you will be responsible assigned to the Common Stim team responsible for managing multi-spectral lab stimulator procurement activities across Lines of Business used in the development of real-time simulation systems consisting of avionics hardware in-the-loop simulations.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Electronic Warfare (EW) or Radar related stimulator subsystem procurements
• Leading subsystem requirements development for new capabilities
• Requirements change management implementation between LM Aero and the EW, Radar, or other stimulator/test bench product supplier
• System integration support of new capabilities
• Planning for management of component obsolescence, anomaly resolution, and development of proposals and requests for proposals.
• Close coordination with laboratory customers, new business development, laboratory functional leadership, and laboratory system development teams to effectively address new capability requests for the laboratories.
• Provide technical support and advice to the laboratory and supplier development teams to ensure common understanding of proposed new system capabilities that will encompass the full product development process from development of system requirements and design.

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree or 20+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in leading the implementation of System Engineering practices
• Experience in development of avionics hardware in-the-loop simulation systems.
• Experience with functional and interface knowledge on one or more of the following: avionics sensors, such as radar, electronic warfare, or CNI subsystems (communication, navigation, identification).
• Experience using the DOORS requirements management tool.
• Experience working collaboratively with multiple engineering teams.
Desired Skills:• Degrees preferred: Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Physics
• Performs system requirements development, system design development, system integration and verification on complex systems.
• Familiarity with F-35 Mission Systems Architecture and subsystems.
• Experience in development of System Requirements and Allocation to subsystems.
• Experience in development of detail System Design
• Working knowledge regarding military threat analysis.
• Experience in development and execution of System Test Procedures
• Experience in delivering products to external customers
• Demonstrated experience in detail planning (estimating, task scheduling using MS Project)
• Working knowledge of EVMS and implications to project decision making.
• Strong technical leadership

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
