Cape Canaveral, FL has an immediate opportunity for an
early to mid-career level Program Planner to join our mission. In this position you will engage with the Digital Transformation, Information Systems, and Program Protection teams to build and maintain multiple schedules across the directorate. Many of these schedules are fast-paced and have high visibility at the Program level and are in support of the Secure Infrastructure and Capabilities (SI&C) directorate. Experience in MS Project or Open Plan is a bonus. Some travel may be requested.
As our Program Planner, you will….• Be responsible for meeting Earned Value Management requirements for some supplemental schedules
• Communicate IMS performance and health metrics, report on major milestones, and integrate with planners across the Program to build and understand interdependencies amongst schedules
• Be expected to be fluent in building and operating EVM compliant schedules in the planning application
Our level 3 employees typically have 5 - 10 years of experience. Although this position does support some teleworking, the selected candidate will be located near our Cape Canaveral facility and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.

Basic Qualifications:- Planning Experience, use of scheduling tool(s)
- Experienced in discrete planning
- Knowledgeable in Project Management basics
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret government security clearance
Desired Skills:- Experience in Open Plan scheduling tool
- Experience in Milestones Pro application
- One Pager Pro application experience
- Experience working with a Government Entity
- Strong sense of follow-up and closure with strict attention to detail and quality
- Proficient communication skills
- Strong organizational skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
