About this role:The CIB Innovation team, aligned within the CIB Chief Operating Office, is seeking an experienced Business Manager to join its leadership team. The Business Manager will serve as a trusted advisor and chief of staff to the CIB Head of Innovation, driving and supporting daily operations and governance.
In this role, you will:- Lead new governance forums and create decisioning framework for innovation
- Serve as a key point of coordination for strategic activities across the Innovation organization and key stakeholders including businesses, COOs, enterprise partners.
- Deliver the business vision and objectives to key support partners, providing direction and leadership, as needed.
- Introduce enhancements and create new internal processes related to organizational design and development, business operations and governance. Identify areas for improvements to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.
- Establish and manage the CIB AI/GenAI Innovation risk and governance framework, in alignment with enterprise requirements.
- Manage and produce business communications, executive level presentations, and various administrative functions including leadership offsites.
- Manage all chief of staff activities for Head of Innovation including hiring strategy, investment planning and support innovation strategy.
Required Qualifications:- 8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management experience
Desired Qualifications:- Prior or existing experience in Strategy, Chief of Staff, COO or Business Management in Corporate & Investment Banking
- Experience leading and creating new functions and frameworks in a "startup" environment
- Collaborates effectively across functional, business and enterprise teams on strategic business strategies.
- Ability to create relationship breadth and depth, while navigating the regulatory, compliance and legal intricacies of working at a highly regulated organization.
- Strong communication skills and experience presenting to C-Level executives.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals and work under deadlines in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
- Strong listening and communications skills with the ability to convey complex information and ideas simply and clearly.
- Strong understanding of current industry trends, constantly seeking new ideas to bring to thinking.
- Strong understanding of navigating a complex and large global banking organization.
- Demonstrated experience around inclusivity in leading and the ability to bring along all key stakeholders into the strategy to ensure the business is operating within our risk framework.
- High energy with a passion for innovation and developing strategic high-growth partnership models.

- Up to 20% travel

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
