Coordinate the right products to be in the right place, at the right time, and in the right quantity globally by working closely with cross functional teams to align supply to achieve customer demand and internal business objectives.
Create high-level and detailed production plans and track progress against those plans. Facilitate the execution of production plans by issuing, tracking, and maintaining work orders. Create metrics, reports, and dashboards to monitor and continuously improve operational outcomes. Drive the implementation of Supply Chain best practices to improve service levels. Using data tools and methods, analyze and systematically solve operations problems, resolving supply constraints relating to our global manufacturing function and external supply partners.
- Generate, maintain, and communicate production plans to meet target customer service levels and financial goals.
- Utilize analytical tools and methodologies (scenario models, simulation, programming, decision support systems, etc.) to identify potential delivery gaps, improve supply plans, reduce cost, reduce working capital, improve asset utilization, etc.
- Analyze, monitor, and flag capacity concerns with operations leadership, making recommendations as appropriate.
- Utilize ERP (QAD) and other systems/tools in conjunction with business processes to drive MRP planned orders toward meeting business objectives (delivery, inventory, cost, etc.)
- Improve existing planning and analytic processes by driving automation and standardization.
- Create and disseminate KPI dashboards and other business intelligence outputs using Excel, Power BI, SAP Business Objects, and similar tools.
- Identify problems associated with established production plans and resolve them by collaborating with Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, and other related teams.
- Lead process improvement projects enhance existing processes and systems, and evaluate/propose new processes and systems as needed.
- Lead and support implementation of advanced planning tools and best practices in the areas of supply chain, production planning, and IBP/S&OP.
- Communicate complex plans and analyses concisely, simply, and accurately with internal business partners and leaders to facilitate important business decisions.
- Set achievable delivery expectations with our internal partners for product launches, supply gap recovery, and other key production/procurement targets.
- Lead meetings to review backorders, supply health, production plans, and related topics.
- Generate or edit training materials or process documents to drive consistent task/process execution.
- Maintain, clean, and improve ERP master data and related processes.
- Assist and support other employees and teams as necessary with related skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required; Master’s Degree preferred
Experience:
- 2+ years experience in Business Analysis, Supply Planning or Inventory Management within an ERP/MRP environment preferred
- Intermediate to Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel
- Working knowledge in Power BI (Building & Designing), Tableau, or similar business intelligence systems preferred
Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Experience with relational databases and programming strongly preferred
- Must possess and demonstrate strong leadership, team building, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-starter, proactive, well organized and able to make sound decisions from proper data analysis
- Desire to build deep knowledge of medical device products and manufacturing processes
- APICS certification a plus
