At the Avionics Product Center, we are at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge electrical instrumentation and wire harnesses to all Final Assembly locations. With a dedicated team of over 250 employees, we ensure the highest standards of quality and precision in every product we deliver. THE WORK
As an associate manager within the Avionics Product Center, you will oversee a team of supervisors and hourly operators across multiple business units in Stratford, CT. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the assembly, testing, and control of in-process and finished goods meet company standards, government regulations, and contract requirements. You will:
• Manage daily operations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Assist in developing and managing budgets, staffing, and training programs.
• Participate in management meetings to discuss business status and strategies.
• Lead daily team meetings to communicate company objectives and business updates.
• Ensure a safe working environment through regular Environmental, Health, and Safety audits.
• Promote an ethics-based business culture and encourage employee involvement and innovation.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience supervising or managing within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing a represented workforce
-SAP or similar ERP experience
Desired Skills:
- Experience in the electronics industry
- Familiarity with ISO/AS9100
- Proven experience in a fast paced environment
-- B.S. or B.A. degree, preferably in a technical discipline

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
