The MetLife Investment Management Marketing (MIM Marketing) team is tasked with collaborating with the Institutional Client Group and Public Fixed Income, Private Capital and Real Estate investment teams to grow MIM’s third-party asset management business. We also support the marketing efforts of our Agriculture Finance business. MIM Marketing is a strategic, client-focused marketing practice that is dedicated to driving business impact in all regions where MIM is offering investment management and commercial lending services. With a focus on client led value propositions, relevant client engagement and fostering a purpose driven brand, the team is committed to enhancing MIM’s relationship with its clients and showing clients that MIM is institutional, but far from typical.
The Content Production Specialist delivers high-quality marketing collateral to enhance our global marketing and client development efforts. The position partners closely with multiple teams to improve the quality of our content and to build efficient processes. The successful candidate will ensure that all marketing collateral is updated and managed properly.
Success in this position requires establishing relationships with our Institutional Client Group, Investment teams, Operations and Legal & Compliance teams, as well as being proactive, collaborative, and having superior attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in relevant investment areas such as fixed maturity and equity securities, mortgages, and real estate
- Accountable for the updating of marketing collateral on a quarter-end basis including pitchbooks, factsheets and other ad hoc materials, as needed
- Function as a point of contact for investment teams and distribution for marketing collateral
- Build an in-depth understanding of the firm's product offerings and investment capabilities
- Commit to improving the quality and efficiency of current processes
- Implement automation and efficiencies through materials leveraging our Marketing portal, Seismic
- Support the development and rollout-out of marketing strategies and programs including sponsored events and thought leadership programs for our investment business.
- Provide support in managing and producing webcasts, videos and podcasts.
- Understand and manage approval workflows to ensure materials follow all applicable rules/regulations and are approved for external distribution.
- Ensure all digital activation components are coordinated with MIM digital team- e.g. Digital activation forms, emails, LinkedIn, graphics and pictures
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
- Strong academic credentials; Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications or finance preferred
- 2+ years in a Marketing role at an asset management firm preferred
- Experience across asset classes both public and private
- Ability to work effectively, performing multiple job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy without compromising quality of output
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Seismic experience preferred
- Microsoft Office skills required, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
