Morrow Energy is looking to add to our growing team in Houston, TX at our Blue Ridge Renewables location!

Job Summary:

The Journeyman Electrician to help us maintain production at all Morrow Energy facilities. The Journeyman Electrician's duties include communicating with clients and performing one's own inspections to diagnose and tend to each task. This position requires a punctual individual who understands the company’s priorities and goals. You should be comfortable performing these and related undertakings with minimal supervision. A remarkable Journeyman Electrician will demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and the capacity to mentor Apprentices on the team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Replace fuses on utility pole

· Read/ comprehend tape measure, blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, work orders, instructions, formulas, and processing charts

· Capable of performing bending, mounting and installation of Rigid Conduit

· Set up and pull wire and cable

· Terminate power, control, and instrumentation wire and cable

· Install electrical gear, equipment, and devices

- Switch gear

- Motors

- Starters

- Heattrace

- Plant lighting

· Install and troubleshoot PLC’s

· Assisting on construction startups

- Loop checks

- Instrument trouble shooting

- Instrument Instillation

- Communications trouble shooting

· Install and troubleshoot AC and DCDrives

· Order and Code Spare Parts/ Material for projects, though Morrow Energy PO program

· CAPABLE OF RUNNING A HOTSTICK

· Familiar with

- Megger

- Multi Meter

- 4-20 mA meter

- Wire trace toner

· Work with safety manager on developing electrical procedures

Position Requirements:

· Have a Texas Journeyman Electrical License with at least 1 years of industrial experience

· Advanced skills in installation, troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment at industrial facilities

· Detailed knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA standards

· Knowledgeable of three phase motors and motor control system (480V and 4160V)

· Detailed knowledge of various site procedures, safety procedures, and MSDS

· Knowledge of the fundamentals of electricity, through completion of an apprenticeship/ professional training

· Operate and work near various power equipment, including, but not limited to, forklifts, man-lifts, excavators, drills, saws, hydraulic tools, and automatic machinery

· Must be safety conscious

· Able to travel up to 25% of the time

· Familiar with office 360. Excel, Word, Outlook – basic computer skills

· Clean Driving record

· Non Union

· Must be able to run a *HOTSTICK*

Position: Journeyman Electrician

Pay: $25.00 -$35.00 an hour

Standard Operating Days/Hours:

· Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (not to exclude weekends, overtime and rotating on-call)
