We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and products to various locations in a safe and timely manner. Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customer locations
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or hand trucks
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakes
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the delivery vehicle
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical work
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Experience with refrigerated trailers is a plus
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of local roads and routes
