Communications and Content Specialist
Key Role:
Provide a range of executive support from development and implementation of external communications and marketing strategies to workforce event planning for workshops and forums, action tracking, and providing input on other client initiatives and programs. Design infographics, presentation visuals, publication design, brochures, posters, and logos, as well as create, edit, and process text and graphics for hardcopy and electronic publication. Work within production schedules and coordinate with program owners to produce and deliver finished visual publications. Manage and develop corporate communications products such as weekly activity reports, briefings, articles, and senior leadership talking points, ensuring workforce awareness of organizational programs, initiatives, requirements, training, and other opportunities. Facilitate two-way communications between workforce and leadership. Liaise and maintain effective working relationships with senior level clients, outside of and within the organization. Work independently and contribute to the team in a collaborative, creative environment.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with graphic design and visual communication
Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite Applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Experience with using Adobe Creative suite tools, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Audition
Experience with motion graphics, animation, sound editing and mixing
Experience with 508 compliance and design principles and graphic user interface design
Ability to display an online portfolio showcasing a broad range of design work
Ability to deliver innovative solutions and superior visual communication products, including infographics, publications, instructional materials, brochures, posters, banners, fact sheets, executive-level presentations, digital marquees, and digital and web advertisements
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with SharePoint
Experience with providing executive level support
Experience with PC computer platforms
Ability to display a professional demeanor and enthusiasm for client and teammate collaboration
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail
Possession of excellent organizational skills
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including editing skills
Master's degree
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
