If you have a passion for transportation management and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply. *Responsibilities* - Manage daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely delivery of freight. - Utilize phone systems and GPS technology to track shipments and communicate with drivers. - Analyze transportation data to optimize routes and improve efficiency. - Coordinate with various departments to facilitate smooth operations. - Maintain accurate records in AS400 and Oracle Transportation Management systems. - Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders regarding shipment status. - Assist in transportation planning to meet customer demands while adhering to company policies. *Experience* - Previous experience in dispatching or transportation management is preferred. - Familiarity with freight logistics and the ability to communicate effectively within the industry. - Proficiency in using phone systems, GPS technology, AS400, and Oracle Transportation Management software. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and make informed decisions. - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
