Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring items are secured for transport.
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks for moving heavy or bulky items as needed.
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Provide outstanding customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered.
- Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist in warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and organization.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is a plus.
- Experience using warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, is beneficial.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
