Description:We are Lockheed Martin You will be the Systems Engineer for the Simulation and System Labs (SSL) F-35 Reprogramming Laboratory (RL) Design, Verification and Validation, Integration team.
What You Will Be Doing
Within the SSL organization resides an extensive collection of systems integration and test capabilities, including low-cost rapid prototyping concept development systems, full-dome handling qualities simulations, high-fidelity multi-ship, real-time, man-in-the-loop simulation systems, Reprogramming Laboratories, and hardware-in-the-loop mission systems and vehicle systems integration venues.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Performing requirements and design development of capability upgrades and/or new test lines for different reprogramming laboratories which provide the capability to program, test, and field F-35 mission data in support of operations, test, and training.
• Employing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques using Cameo to model the RL system functionality and requirements allocations.
• Conducting systems engineering analysis to determine the impact of requirements changes on system architecture (performance/behaviors/functions)
• Ensuring the detail hardware and software designs are conforming to the overall architecture

You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor degree from an accredited college in a STEM discipline. (Preferred: Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Physics)
• Experience developing system model architectures applying MBSE techniques using Cameo System Modeler
• Experience with systems engineering processes (i.e., configuration management, change management, problem reporting, etc.) and application of associated tools (i.e., DOORS, Jira, etc.)
Desired Skills:• Strong analytical, problem solving, demonstrated ability to comprehend and work successfully with complex systems of systems
• Experience with requirements analysis and decomposition
• Familiarity with F-35 Mission Systems architecture and subsystem.
• Strong communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated experience cross collaborating with different engineering teams

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
