The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
Work with internal and external customers to drive & growth GCS business model execution which includes sales execution, channel activation and engagement to drive demand generation and customer satisfaction. As a Channel Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Sales leadership to attain sales target in assigned territory around sales pipeline management, sales analysis & planning, remote customer relationship management, and execution of business plan, channel plan, and GCS Strategic plan
- Identify and follow up opportunities with Customers, BGs & Subsidiaries utilizing Salesforce, to maintain a healthy Opportunity Pipeline
- Oversee program activity in assigned territory (but not limited to) , program launch, ongoing maintenance, and viability of channel; recommend alternative channel solution, as needed.
- Adjusts sales plan, prioritizes and analyzes multiple sales strategies to determine the best course of action in changing market conditions
- Establishes and maintains solid relationships with int./ext. customers by understanding and identifying their needs for the best outcome and 3M's competitiveness.
- Provide consultation, analysis, and solutions for internal and external customers using GCS playbook
- Handles non-routine and difficult inquiries. Adapts differing techniques and methods to develop channel solutions for a variety of opportunities.
- Lead/coach/develop/motivate the GCS teams for growth
- Lead special projects
- Manage Global & Key Accounts
- Establish standard processes related to specialist's tasks and onboard new specialist
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Five (5) years of business analyst and/or supply chain experience in a private, public, or government environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree from an accredited institution
- Proven experience with leading and contributing to cross-functional teams
- Consumer business experience
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Initiative and self-direction
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated experience managing projects with multi-disciplinary teams
- Skills include Microsoft Office, management, Pricing, CRM, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint
Work location:
- Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remotely on-site, or hybrid) within the U.S.
Travel: May include up to 30% domestic/international
