Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty (PenFed Realty), a wholly owned subsidiary of PenFed Credit Union (PenFed), is hiring a Real Estate Leasing Coordinator to work onsite in Clarksville, Tennessee. The primary purpose of this job is to perform administrative functions of the Property Management Team assuring a high level of professionalism in property issues, including timely response to and resolution of any requests or concerns.
Responsibilities

Provide general administrative support to the property management team.
Run comps on properties upon intake and annual lease renewals; assists Broker with working with owners on management agreement renewals and amendments for unit market pricing.
Prepare all leases and renewals and send them to tenants for tenant signature and countersigning.
Answer all leasing questions in person and through Appfolio and email.
Perform weekly active vacancy checks, including:
Ensuring that the sign is compliant with company standards.
Confirming that lockbox has key and is properly functioning, adding or removing lockbox if needed.
Dropping welcome basket on properties in Move In status
Checking/changing air filters and bleach drains, changing lightbulbs, and any other small needs the unit may have, excluding any repairs to be made.
Run applications for Broker approval, sending approval/denial letter to prospective tenants.
Oversee the tenant Move In appointment to review lease, renters’ insurance, utilities, and keys.
Keep notes and updates in Appfolio for all activities performed, providing Broker with an E.O.D. report.
Coordinate with Inspector/Transition Coordinator with inspections, move outs, and other items pertaining to condition of properties.
Assist Property Management staff with workloads in times of influx or for coverage of employees when needed.
Work to convert all leads that come outside of floor duty window to qualified Buyers or Tenants
Qualifications
An equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
Associate’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related field
Commercial experience preferred.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication including organizational skills.
Must be self-motivated and work well independently.
Proficient in MS Word and Excel
Basic accounting experience required.
Experience in accounting applications preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
Must hold valid real estate license in Tennessee and Kentucky
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.
Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.
Travel
Limited travel to various worksites is required.
