- Degree or certification in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience designing and producing content for a technical audience that include data scientists or business consumers of AI technologies
- Experience using content publishing tools to write, format, manage, and publish technical content on the web
- Ability to read and write basic example code in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, C#, or Go

The Technical Content Experience (TCX) group, also known as AWS Documentation, is looking for a programmer writer to support Amazon AI and ML services. These services include Health AI, Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, and Amazon Q, and this role offers the opportunity to work on cutting edge Generative AI and Machine Learning technologies.
Ideally, you have both a technical background that enables easy interaction with software developers and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality technical documentation. The AWS Documentation team writes and provides support for a diverse technical audience, such as developers, DevOps professionals, IT professionals, and technical program managers. On behalf of our customers, we innovate, we research, we learn, and we experiment. We collaborate with product managers to understand our customers’ needs. We partner with software developers to learn about the inner workings of AWS services so that we can influence product design and the customer experience with the product. AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $173,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
