Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly motivated Associate Project Engineer to support the Targets and Countermeasures Program (TCP) for our Huntsville, Alabama Site.
As a Project Engineer Associate, you will be working as part of a dynamic team in creating end-to-end solutions, focused on delivering time critical, threat-representative Re-entry Vehicles (RVs), Ground Support Equipment (GSE), and mission support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
This position will work closely with the TCP leadership team to coordinate meetings / reviews, develop associated presentation materials, and track action items to closure. The selected candidate will ensure consistent messaging across internal and external customer communication, and adherence to the program reporting business rhythm. The selected candidate will also champion an effort to establish a streamlined approach of storing and accessing historical and current documentation spread across multiple digital platforms.
The ideal candidate will have a technical or business background, demonstrated excellent communication and organizational skills, and data analysis experience. The successful candidate will also be a self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate meetings and reviews, develop associated presentation materials, and track actions to closure
• Ensure consistent templates and messaging across program internal and external communications and adherence to the program reporting business rhythm
• Lead effort to establish a streamlined approach to digital communication and data storage for the program
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance
Desired Skills:• Experience working as a part of a geographically diverse team
• MS Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers and executive leadership
• DOD Secret Clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
