Job Overview & Responsibilities
Overall responsibility of ULA maritime transport vessel(s) and Port Logistics management. Position will report through the Transport Operation and Engineering organization, providing key input into shipment strategy initiatives and overall transport optimization. Job responsibilities also include, but not limited to:
- Vessel upload / offload strategy support
- Inland and Ocean-going voyage advisory
- Vessel Management liaison
- Vessel maintenance and repair forecast, budgetary and cost audits
- Vessel maintenance and repair oversight, as required
- Multi-Vessel Port Logistics management
- Regulatory body (USCG, ABS, etc.) & Maritime compliance verification
- Maritime trade space development
- Maritime Engineering / Operation support on development and recurring programs
- Passion for developing and managing a transparent culture and cross-departmental relationships
- Ability to effectively work within a team and prioritize tasks and responsibilities in a culture of rapid change
Candidate will be required to work alongside airborne, equipment, and supply chain support functions to ensure perfect product delivery and safe vessel operations. Technical research, development, and anomaly support may be required. Candidate shall be familiar with dangerous and sensitive goods shipment, explosive classifications, and safe shipment arrangements.

Basic Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Active multi-modal dangerous goods certification in 49CFR, IATA, and IMDG
- Experience with dangerous goods shipment
- Experience with Aerospace hardware or sensitive equipment shipments
- 3D Modeling / CAD experience (NX preferred)
