Description: You will be a Field Sales Support Systems Engineer Senior - Level 3.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Field Sales Support Systems Engineer Senior - Level 3, you will manage the logistics of spare and repair parts with a small team of Item Analysts. You will make and execute decisions for operating inventory to include suppliers, repair facilities, warehousing, and customer locations, including priority interpretation, inventory allocation and asset redistribution as necessary among sources of supply and military operating locations. You will support proposal writers, inventory optimization models, forecasts, and budget requirements. You will interface with company and Air Force, LM Engineering and suppliers, and prepares status reports and metrics relating to performance and mission readiness. Using trend data, interaction with Procurement and repair locations, and proactive management of inventories, you can impact schedules, enable logistics to properly flow, and support customer flight and maintenance operations.

- Assuring inventory sufficiency throughout the life cycle of supported systems
- Capturing data and performing analysis to proactively shape logistical performance
- Solving supply chain and schedule issues
- Presenting analysis of data and logistical status to management and the customer
- Generating requirements for sourcing and repair of aircraft parts
- Performing to contractual, schedule, and
financial requirements
- Providing Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAPS) or Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support
- Analyzing and resolving customer-raised Supply Chain Management (SCM) sustainment issues
- Leading root cause analysis and process
improvement initiatives
- Assisting with Import/Export shipments

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college OR equivalent experience/combined education
• Demonstrated experience with Military Supply Chain Logistics, Warehouse Inventory Management, Item Management, and/or Supplier Management; experience supporting Performance Based Logistics (PBL) or Supply Chain Management concepts and performance requirements
• Experience with spares and/or repairs requisition support and/or component repair cycle management
• Experience with presenting performance status and metrics to customers and leadership
Desired Skills:
• Experience with achieving project success under schedule and budget requirements
• Experience with SAP or other MRP type software Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with inventory management, finance, contracting, procurement, or product support
• Experience working with military or industrial customers such as inside/outside sales, distribution, scheduling, routing, and customer support sales or engineering systems or other engineering type work that involves ability to read drawings, contracts, and requirements

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
