Warehouse Material Handler and CDL Delivery Driver
Location: Duluth, MN
Job type: Full time
License: Valid Class B CDL Drivers License
Vehicle Type: Box truck/straight truck
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6am start time
Hourly pay: $18.90/hr - $21.40/hr (pay for experience)
Distance: Local deliveries - return home each night
Learn about a day in the life of our drivers!
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Be the face, voice, and reputation of our company while delivering products to customer job sites, shops, and businesses.
- Navigate computer programs to find products and complete orders for customers.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies.
- Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety & vehicle readiness using the Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Report.
- Ensure truck is properly loaded, secured, and within weight limitation.
- Work independently to load, unload, and move materials within or near work site.
- Fill orders and issues materials and supplies per requests.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts, hand trucks or dollies.
- Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Other warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Maintain D.O.T. Medical Card & Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
- Valid Class B CDL or above with/Airbrake required.
- Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time.
- Ability to learn use of warehouse and driving technology.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 85 lbs.
- Self-motivated, teamwork focused, and great customer service skills.
- Attention to detail, good time management, accurately use basic math and problem-solving skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum of 1-year commercial driving experience preferred.
