What you will do:
Staff Auditor
Execute fieldwork, including scheduling interviews and walkthroughs.
Review materials, design, and execute audit testing.
Analyze results and draw conclusions using the CAAS Audit methodology.
Document test results and conclusions, preparing draft and final audit reports.
Senior Auditor
Direct and supervise the audit lifecycle from planning to execution.
Schedule and lead interviews and walkthroughs with stakeholders.
Review materials, design, and execute audit testing.
Prepare and lead internal and external status meetings.
Document test results and conclusions, preparing draft and final audit reports.
Manage and provide oversight for Staff Auditors, ensuring quality work products.
Audit Manager
Provide guidance and direction for the audit planning process.
Oversee the execution of fieldwork, including interviews and walkthroughs.
Review materials, design, and execute audit testing.
Analyze results, draw conclusions, and draft issue reports.
Manage the entire audit lifecycle, including staffing, scheduling, and methodology.
Prepare weekly, monthly, or periodic status reports.
Assist the Audit Director in the development and mentoring of staff auditors.
Ensure quality and timeliness of all audit work products.
What you will need to have:
Bachelor's degree or experience in these fields or combination of education, career and military experience.
0-5+ years of financial services industry experience and/or public accounting firm (internal audit, internal controls, risk management, compliance management, accounting, or operations).
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards) and the latest audit techniques
Demonstrated knowledge or experience in one or more of the following: Accounting and Finance Principles, Internal Controls, Risk Management or Regulatory Compliance regulations, standards, or frameworks such as FASB, COSO, FFIEC, NIST or PCI
What would be great to have:
CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE or other applicable professional certifications or candidates for certification preferred
Basic knowledge of Internal Audit or Exam Management, Internal Controls, Finance, Regulatory Compliance, or Risk management preferred
Background preferably in a financial services or payments industry environment.
