Drive company cargo van and deliver an average of 250 packages, daily. Use a scanner to guide you during your route. You will be responsible for safely operating your vehicle and making on-time deliveries. Previous delivery experience is a plus. You will be expected to work in a physical, fast-paced environment and have good customer service skills.
**IMPORTANT SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS** Shifts are typically 10 hours long and 4 days per week. Your schedule will require you to work on weekends. No exceptions. Schedules are for 40 hours per week but are not guaranteed. There are bonus opportunities for good performance. You must be able to work weekends when requested.
MINIMUM APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in fast paced environment
- Must show proof of a valid FL driver license
- Must be legal to work in U.S. and pass e-verify check, valid work permit is okay
- Good communication skills and ability to follow managers' written and oral instructions
Start time: You will start the around the same time, every day, somewhere between 10:00 am to 11:45 pm, for a 10 hour shift.
Location: You will drive your car to our warehouse located on 3000 Shelby Industrial Dr, Apopka, FL 32703 and leave it in secured parking until you finish your shift.
Compensation: Starting compensation is $19.75 plus overtime pay, if you work overtime. If you are an existing Driver for an existing DSP, we will consider more per hour (based on your experience and driver statistics). If you leave your existing DSP, we require that you provide 2 weeks notice to your employer.
