What you will do
You will work in a cross platform mobile team to deliver new features and iterate on the existing apps.
You will focus on Android development bringing a solid background in good code quality and unit testing.
You will work within an agile team environment alongside iOS developers, Business analyst & automation test engineers.
Involved in maintaining the release cadence and working towards continuous delivery.
Monitoring app releases and automating reporting to create a reliable product.
Key responsibilities·Solid knowledge in Kotlin and Unit Testing. Basics of CI/CD and Espresso UI Testing . The ability to comfortably work independently in Kotlin, refactoring existing code to improve its design.
- Strong experience in writing tests to create production ready code.
- A thorough understanding of Mobile Software architectures including Model View View-Model (MVVM).
- A strong understanding of Clean Architecture and SOLID principles.
- Experience of owning Continuous Integration and supporting scripts.
- A good understanding of how to use git.
- Practice at debugging and resolving bugs and performance issues.
- Strong knowledge and experience of Agile methodologies and standard processes (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc)
- An understanding of the importance of Code Reviews and QA processes.
- Superb communication skills in English with the ability to provide written & verbal updates tailored to your audience.
- Experience writing UI tests.
- Experience with Compose UI
