Scrum Master

As a scrum master, you’re passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that's modernizing and creating efficiency in critical projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need a scrum master like you to create solutions enabling the next generation of Marine Corps applications and services.
On our team, you’ll apply your functional knowledge to coach a development team to focus on sprint goals, ensuring the project is successfully progressed. You’ll apply scrum principles and concepts to resolve routine problems. Using tools like ServiceNow and Azure DevOps, you’ll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish a state of optimized workflow that delivers the solutions Mission Owners need.
In this role, you’ll directly impact the USMC Cloud Hosting Services team by supporting the development of the Cloud infrastructure that hosts Mission Owner business applications. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in tactical planning and delivery in a scaled agile environment while developing and contributing to a variety of project solutions that are pushing the tactical edge of cloud modernization within the Marine Corps.

You Have:
3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master serving as a servant leader, facilitating Agile practices and ceremonies, removing team impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
Experience with identifying, implementing, and measuring the success of solutions that enhance the flow of work and team performance
Experience in Agile tools, including Jira, ServiceNow or Azure DevOps
Knowledge of Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) principles
Knowledge of Cloud technologies, specifically Microsoft Azure
Ability to drive change across the team and program
Ability to facilitate scrum ceremonies, including team program increment planning, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Scrum Master Certification, including Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)

Experience supporting teams to adopt Agile transformation
Knowledge of DevSecOps in cloud computing environments
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
