The Boeing Company’s Human Resources (HR) Retirement and Financial Wellbeing organization is currently seeking a Retirement Strategy Lead to join our team.
This position will provide subject matter expertise (SME) to coworkers regarding benefit issues and concerns and will respond to many complex questions. A successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication, organization and multitasking skills. They will also be an expert in the field of retirement plans, including nonqualified and other top hat plans.
This role can be based in any of the following locations: Chicago, IL; North Charleston, SC; Dallas, TX; Seattle, WA or Alexandria, VA.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead retirement plan strategy for Boeing; Including ~10 US Pension plans, a 401(k) plan and subsidiary plans as well as nonqualified plans
Gather recommendations for plan design changes, monitor opportunities for pension derisking and oversee all retirement plan communications
Utilize data on participant utilization of retirement plans to determine gaps, education needed, outreach, etc.
Understand retirement trends and developments in the market and ensure review of these trends with leadership; make recommendations as market develops
Work closely with the operations team to oversee plan change implementations
Meet regularly with Trust Investments and EBA and others in finance to ensure alignment on retirement strategy matters
Manage retirement plan consultants
Lead request for proposals (RFP) activities
Lead multifunctional teams through plan design changes, mergers, etc.
Support union negotiations and merger and acquisition activity from a policy and strategy perspective
Prepare Employee Benefit Plans Committee materials
Understand and influence policy changes needed in rules and regulations
Work with government operations on policy matters
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience working with employee retirement plans, such as 401k and Pension Plans
5+ years of experience analyzing demographic and related data (payroll/financial) for retirement plans, covering bargained and non-bargained populations
5+ years of experience working with nonqualified retirement plans
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher
10+ years working in a large, complex environment with responsibility for retirement plan strategy
10+ years of experience leading and prioritizing request for proposals (RFP)
10+ years of experience with proposal management, strategies development and/or contract negotiations
Typical Education & Experience:
Typically 15 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $130,050 - $186,600
