Boeing Global Services is currently looking for a Total Quality Assurance Manager to join their team in Oklahoma City (OKC), OK. This position will focus on Global Technical Operations statements of work in OKC as it aligns to BDS, BT&E and BGS Government Training and Engineering portfolios. A successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day execution of the Boeing Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry and Department of Defense (DOD) standards at Boeing OKC site. Purview will also extend to adjacent Tinker AFB, OK.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages, develops, and motivates a team of quality product acceptance specialists and quality systems specialist to deliver first-time quality (FTQ) process and products
- Develops and maintains strategic and tactical partnerships with customers, stakeholders, partners, peers, and direct reports
- Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving
- Acts as the initial point of escalation for issues or challenges encountered by the team. Capable of effectively triaging and de-escalating issues with impacted parties
- Analyzes hiring results, metrics and trends to influence team strategy and performance
- Assist their senior manager in the development and execution of process plans, and procedures and sets operational goals relative to field operations quality assurance
- Partners with Operations, Engineering, Finance and HR to execute on statement of work to meet customer and program expectations
- Demonstrates the Boeing Behaviors in a deliberate and observable way
- Manages a group of roughly 8-10 direct reports
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience leading or managing multifunctional teams in Quality or continuous improvement initiatives
- 3 years of experience working with quality management systems including ISO9001 (International Organization for Standardization) and AS91001 (Aerospace Standard)
- 1+ years of experience with conducting/leading Quality Management Systems (QMS) Audits
- 1+ years of experience performing Final Acceptance tests on various products
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Associates degree or higher and/or equivalent military experience (4 year or greater in USAF, USN, USMC, US Army or US Coast Guard)
- Quality Auditing/Assessing
- Risk Management
- Quality Assurance/Quality Control
- Strong Communication Skills
- Quality Management System knowledge as it relates to Industry, Boeing and DOD standards
- FOD/Tool Control and Safety knowledge
- Knowledge of business acumen; EVM, Cost and Scheduling
- Knowledge of formal RCCA with Human Factors application
- Ability to work with DOD and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) customers

Summary pay range: $101,150 – $136,850
