Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as well as operate delivery vehicles efficiently.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit.
Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining flexibility to accommodate changes as needed.
Utilize pallet jacks and other equipment for loading and unloading tasks.
Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with clients upon delivery.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments.
Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition before starting deliveries.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding safety and delivery procedures.

Qualifications

Familiarity with load unloading procedures and heavy lifting techniques is essential.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Experience as a courier or delivery driver is a plus.
Ability to operate a pallet jack and other relevant equipment safely.
Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines consistently.
