Job and Program Summary
KBR is looking for a Program Manager (PM) to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting the readiness and sustainment of Air Force aircraft and missile systems. This is a full-time position located in the KBR Warner Robins, GA.
The candidate will provide program oversight for sustainment and modernization activities supporting the F-15 System Program Office. The PM will be responsible for coordinating program requirements with the customer, monitoring task performance of multiple projects addressing aircraft reliability, sustainment, DMSMS issues, obsolescence, and component redesign. This role is the primary liaison with the customer and must be capable of maintaining that relationship. The ideal candidate must have experience interpreting regulations, policies and procedures, to include the Task Order Performance Work Statement, ensuring contractual obligations are met and are compliant. The PM will ensure subordinate managers effectively manage labor while maintaining schedule and budget. The PM will provide guidance, and when necessary, provide direction regarding employee discipline, evaluation of personnel performance and salary actions. The PM will also frequently interface with vendors and potential customers. This is a supervisory role that is on-site.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements for the position:
Bachelors Degree in engineering, science, business administration from an ABET accredited University.
Project Management Professional PMI Certification
Minimum 20 years of related experience on USAF Fighter Aircraft
Minimum of 10 years of experience managing technical operations supporting USAF Fighter Aircraft
Experience with technical program planning and implementation, contract interpretation, budget development and administration of government projects.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of F-15 systems and projects
PREFERRED SKILLS
Master of Science Degree in engineering, science, business administration from an ABET accredited University
Experience in developing system design and performance requirements, prototype development
Experience in qualification testing and product integration
Proficiency with MS Project and building and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules
Successful past performance in managing complex USAF weapons system/engineering projects
Proficient in Earned Value Management
Experience in leading Integrated Product Teams
Strong Microsoft Office skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems and innovate solutions
Strong verbal, technical writing, and communication skills
Strong organizational and personal skills

Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation.
