About the Role:

As a CBRE Plumber, you will be responsible for general preventive maintenance, repair, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of plumbing, mechanical and distribution systems throughout a facility.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do:

Responsible for operating, replacing, repairing and maintaining all domestic hot and

cold-water systems.

Low, medium, and high-pressure steam and condensate distribution systems

Hot water solar heating systems. stormwater systems

Sanitary drainage systems, pumps, and fixtures (standard and security styles) according to specifications and plumbing codes.

Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance and repairs including fixture replacement.

Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot the water and medical gas supply and distribution system.

Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures by blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.

Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using a plumber’s snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer.

Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.

Respond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed.

Complete all HSE programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc.

Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management.

Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.

Work within broad guidelines and policies.

What You’ll Need:

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

High School diploma or GED completed vocational training, apprenticeship, with 4 years of commercial experience. Fully understands local plumbing codes, plumbing procedures, and specialized skills.

Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Required Licenses and Certifications

Journeyman license preferred.

Valid driver’s license

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $29.36/hr and the maximum salary for this position is $51.62/hr. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
