Description
The National Security Sector of Leidos has an opening for a Material Coordinator to join our team in Newport, RI. The successful candidates will perform limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to the depot, local, or other supply activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain records of inventory items issued, transferred, shipped, decremented, and their functional status.
Monitor, UPDATE, and maintain the accuracy of databases. (NDA & ERP, Cm Pro, Access, Warp)
Basic Qualifications
Previous experience supporting warehousing activities.
Previous experience reading/interpreting warehouse storage plans.
Experience with the operation of standard office equipment (phones, computer, fax, copiers). Ability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted.
A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, Excel, SAP/ERP program, policies, nomenclature, work methods, procedure manuals, or other established guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in inventory maintenance.
Experience performing online database entry, update, and lookup activities.
Previous experience supporting warehousing activities.
Recent knowledge and experience with database entry/lookup using the NATSC Depot Application (NDA), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP, IM/WM), Cm Pro, Access, and Excel.
Recent experience at NATSC Newport. NATSC Program and WBS allocation experience.

This role is covered by the Service Contract Act. This position will pay $27.87 per hour.
