Responsibility Statements
- Support 3PL Origin Operations across a network of 900+ vendors including carrier bookings, consolidation, KPI reporting, strategic analysis, and visibility.
- Conduct strategic analysis of origin operations compliance KPI’s and service level agreements to optimize performance while minimizing landed cost and risk.
- Develop and maintain control tower for end-to-end international transportation execution, KPI reports to monitor performance and action service level issues
- Leverage internal and external data repositories to develop dashboards, reporting, insights and create efficient alerts for origin process optimization
- Analyze end to end international transit time performance and develop recommendations for adjustments to enable optimal level of service, cost and in stock goals
- Manage 3rd party origin operations compliance, performance, and improvement action plans in collaboration with internal partners
- Collaborate with other international teams to anticipate and ensure adequate capacity for order booking and end to end execution processes
- Review and assist resolution of any import delays in collaboration with vendors, carriers, customs broker, and other team members
- Conduct periodic order flow compliance training sessions, assist in internal audits and assessments
- Demonstrates and fosters an environment of continuous improvement. Finds, develops, and leads improvement initiatives in the origin operations space.
- Supports Lowe’s compliance with regulatory importing requirements and documentation
- Partner with internal stakeholders on new and special merchandise programs to ensure order attributes are correctly set-up for timely importation
- Ability to track orders and shipments via internal and external systems as needed
- Participates in origin operations contract management including data gathering and analysis, procurement, contracting, and performance management activities
What you Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
- 4-6+ years of experience in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field
- Experience managing 3rd party or supplier relationships
- Expertise in data analysis and/or statistical work
- Advanced use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of international transportation processes and practices
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities
- Detail oriented with exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated self-starter with consistent drive to follow-up and follow through on key deliverables
- Strong ability to communicate and interact with internal and external associates at all levels
- Sound judgment and ability to make decisions balancing capacity, capability, service, and cost
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management / Logistics, Transportation, or related field
- Experience working with an importer, freight forwarder, and/or ocean carrier
- Experienced / familiar with customs brokerage & C-TPAT Trade Security operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI
