Description: You will be the Subcontract Management Sr Staff for the SOF GLSS (Special Operations Forces - Global Logistic Sustainment Services) contract team. Our team is responsible for providing logistics and sustainment support to multiple programs and platforms, with a global supply base that makes a significant positive impact on the warfighter.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Management Sr Staff, you will be responsible for managing large subcontracts throughout their lifecycle, from request for proposal to contract creation, and ensuring cost, schedule, and performance are met. Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing subcontracts from request for proposal to contract creation and through the life cycle of the effort.
• Overseeing cost, schedule, and performance of subcontracts.
• Implementing supplier corrective actions and return to green efforts as required.
• Providing status reports to senior and executive leadership.
• Collaborating with Compliance to support audits.
• Mentoring and serving as a knowledge resource on complex subcontracts, including those with Spec/SOW driven requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
• Significant Acquisition / procurement / Subcontract experience
• Comprehensive understanding of Global Supply Chain and/or complex Government procurement concepts and best practices
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to analyze multiple data sources
• Proven communication skills
• Comprehensive understanding of negotiations and ability to analyze cost/price to establish a negotiation position
• Demonstrated experience with proposal evaluations (Price/Cost Analysis) and negotiations, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulations (DFAR).
• Experience with Statements of Work
• Experience leading teams and project initiatives
• Experience with lean initiatives and supporting cross functional teams
Desired Skills:
• Understanding of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) contract
• Background in establishing/managing competitive and non-competitive price agreements
• Experience Leading complex negotiations
• Experience leading Subcontract Management Team (SMT)
• Ability to create and present using Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership, suppliers and other external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordination between functional organizations

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
