Job Description
The Studio Distribution organization provides client services & media order management to several organizations across NBCUniversal including Television Distribution, Universal Pictures Group, Peacock, and domestic/international networks. The Library Governance team, a part of Studio Distribution, is responsible for the curation, research, and safeguarding of NBCUniversal Feature & Television digital assets across a growing number of media libraries.
The Library Analyst will advise on the global servicing and archival content libraries, partnering with technical and business teams for projects, content partners and providers for content intake, and servicing teams for live orders and special assignments. This position requires strong analytical skills and abilities to ensure maximum, highest quality throughput while also providing best-in-class customer service.
Responsibilities
- Order/ Request Management: Work with a team of analysts to review and provide sourcing information for our clients, ensuring media is available and ready for servicing by requested due dates.
- Content Research: Diligently research to find best available assets through multiple systems, libraries, and storage.
- Project Coordination: participate in special projects and/or library migration efforts to ensure content is accurately utilized across the TechOps operation, advising on availability, establishing asset tracking, and preparing documentation for downstream teams
- Customer Service: provide proactive communication to clients and internal partners regarding status updates; manage expectations about deliverables and timelines
- All other duties as assigned; we reserve the right to change the above as business needs require
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Qualifications
Required:
- 3 years + experience with digital media (video, audio, text files, etc.) with a thorough knowledge or passion for content curation and specs
- Proficient with Office 365 Suite/ Apps (Teams, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, etc.), Salesforce, Smartsheet, JIRA, and/or other project management and process mapping tools
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills, understanding the overall scope of requests while identifying and highlighting details
- Proven ability to collaborate both in-person and virtually with a variety of people across multiple departments and functions
- Ability to effectively manage a high-volume work environment and competing priorities.
- Effective Communication skills (verbal and written) to effectively communicate with customers and partners
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter, utilizing available resources and always looking for opportunities and solutions
- Respectful team player who follows rules and policy while maintaining a positive attitude
- Willingness and ability to work when a critical issue arises desired, supporting a 24/7/365 operation
Preferred:
- 3 years + experience with media asset management systems
- 3 years + experience with libraries or archives.
- 3 years + experience in a client facing service role
