This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.

XGIE teams are responsible for Xfinity brand and product strategy, including its video, broadband, voice, home, and mobile products, as well as consumer sales and marketing, digital platforms, and data intelligence.
The Strategic Initiatives and Special Projects team is a group of professionals who bring their varied backgrounds and talents in brand, languages, teaching, data, and customer service to create an engaging entertainment experience for our English and Spanish speaking customers through systems management, translations, project & program management, and lots of collaboration with internal and external partners.

As anEditorial Operations Specialist Co-opon the Strategic Initiatives and Special Projects team, you will help Xfinity and Xumo create the best entertainment experiences while collaborating across a variety of teams leading our technology, advertising, data, and customer service efforts.
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
In your role, you will ensure the highest quality of our editorial experiences throughout entertainment collections and customer communication tactics across our entertainment platforms including X1, Stream, and Xumo devices. You will source data to inform our strategy and create updated playbooks and other documentation for programs such as rebrands to equip us for the ever-changing entertainment-delivery landscape.

From sports, to news, to TV and movies, we want our customers to love our products and services. Support with recurring editorial quality assurance for Xfinity and Xumo entertainment platforms, promoting brand, language, and functional integrity.
