Role Description

Responsible for preparing tax and other related compliance for the company and its affiliated entities. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge and responsibilities. Maintain tax records and prepare work papers for various State and Local returns. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the tax field. Requires strong organizational, analytical and oral and written communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Learn and apply the basics of the daily technology used in our tax department.

Assist with Indirect Tax compliance processes to timelymeet filing deadlines.

Plan, organize, and run projects in their entirety with minimum assistance.

Responds to straight forward correspondence with governmental revenue bodies under little or no supervision.

Prepares tax records for review.

Prepares all or specifically assigned tax related reports.

Ensures that records, returns and related reports comply with all state, and local regulations.

Prepare tax account reconciliations.

Assists in external tax audits and tax issues.

Provides general assistance to Company's Tax Specialists involved in a variety of taxation work, including research and analysis of key issues.

Performs business intelligence analysis and data exploitation on large data sets data.

Develops business intelligence requirements and explore conceptual data models.

Designs, build, and test reporting and analytic business intelligence programs; integrate discoveries with other data sources.

Profiles data for large data platforms and data sets; perform data visualization, using Alteryx, Tableau, Teams Tools and advanced Excel functionality (pivot table, regression analysis, etc.), and other business intelligence tools to build data reporting dashboards.

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.

Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting March 31, 2025 through September 19, 2025.

Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs

Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Base Pay: $27.00
