Organization & TeamOverview
Comcast Business, Carrier Sales:This team manages customer disputes for Carrier accounts and manages credits. The team currently is made up of 1 Sr. Manager, 1 Sr Analyst, and 1 Analyst. This team manages the lifecycle of customer disputes from receipt of customer dispute to dispute resolution. Duties include tracking and managing billing disputes received from Carrier customers and ensure they are processed in a timely manner; Evaluate disputes to determine credit liability; Conduct analyses of disputes, Adhere to contract terms to minimize credit impacts; Cross-collaboration with Sales Operations and Billing to resolve disputes and issue applicable credits; Communicate credit impacts to Executive leadership, Finance, and Accounting. Sole focus is to minimize credit impacts to retain sales revenue.

As a Dispute Analyst Co-op on the Disputes Management team, you willbe responsible for processing disputes and credit requests from Comcast Business Carrier Services customers related to invoice discrepancies and network outages. This role requires researching, processing & resolving customer billing claims while maintaininghigh level of productivity and accuracy. Analytical support of credit forecasts, reports and variances versus budget forecast.
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
In your role, you will bridge the gap between sales revenue generation and revenue retention. Trace defects in the sales generation to billing process flows and identifyroot cause of billing erros. Protect Comcast Business Carrier Sales revenue budgets while maintaining positive customer relationships and experiences.
Where can this student make an impact?
You’ll be working with a team that treats Carrier sales revenue as if it’s their own money. Success in this role is plugging revenue leakage and contributing toward the success in meeting revenue budgets.
