This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
Organization & Team Overview
The Comcast Campus Planning team develops the strategic plan for space allocation and use across our Philadelphia campus (Comcast Center and Comcast Technology Center). Our team is comprised of occupancy planners who manage seat assignments, coordinate employee moves, and partner with business units to optimize their footprint on campus or engage in restack efforts to better co-locate teams. While our workplace strategy team routinely evaluates the availability and use of specialty spaces, such as labs, IoT rooms, functional rooms, storage spaces, and open/collaboration spaces. Utilizing Eptura Workplace, our team engages directly with end users, while the platform also allows employees to virtually navigate our buildings and place facilities requests related to their space.
As a Co-op on the Campus Planning Team, you will play a critical role in collaborating with and supporting our team on various business workstreams and projects that support the built environment of our 2.6M SF Campus.
Who We Work With:As the team responsible for managing space and addressingspace needs, our team frequently interacts with members of all levels and all business units across campus.Additionally, our team works cross-functionally on special projects that arise on campus.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support team in management of tasks related to day-to-day operations, which includes updating space repositories, seat assignments, and other activities as required.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Outlook, and Access, Adobe In-Design, AutoCAD preferred, but not required.
Preferred Majors:Business focuses such as Behavioral Economics, Business Analytics, General Business, Entrepreneurship, Finance, International Business, Operational & Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, Organizational Management, Real Estate Management & Development, Architectural Studies, Interior Design, etc.
