Description:You will be a Hardware Design Engineer at Lockheed Martin, responsible for leading hardware suppliers through development, testing, reviews, and hardware deliverables in support of the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) program. Our team is looking for a talented and experienced engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Hardware Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading hardware suppliers through development, testing, reviews, and hardware deliverables in support of PrSM flight tests and future production. You will be responsible for coordinating technical interchanges, driving critical actions to closure, and communicating status to program leadership and the USG customer. Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading hardware suppliers through development, testing, reviews, and hardware deliverables
• Coordinating technical interchanges with suppliers and program teams
• Driving critical actions to closure and resolving technical issues
• Communicating status to program leadership and the USG customer
• Ensuring compliance with engineering requirements, design verification testing, and mechanical and electrical design principles
• Providing input to proposals and technical documents

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in hardware engineering design, analysis, or testing in a development environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and Project. Experience working with suppliers.
- Experience with project leadership.
Desired Skills:
- Control Account Management (CAM) experience
- Proposal (BOE Preparation, proposal reviews) experience
- Customer experience.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
