Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking an intern for Summer 2025 in our Grand Prairie (Dallas-Ft. Worth area) location.
The intern will be responsible for leading a minimum of one project and participating in several others supporting the execution of the functional excellence plan for the Production, Planning and Control department at a large manufacturing facility.
Students who can work well in a teaming environment, have good organization skills, and have good computer skills will be the most successful.
Candidate must be a US citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance. Candidate must be able to obtain interim secret clearance prior to start.
Basic Qualifications:Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s or Master's degree program in a related discipline
US citizen with ability to obtain a security clearance
Desired Skills:Prefer rising juniors or seniors majoring in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, MIS, Finance, Industrial Engineering or Business. Will consider other related majors.
Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft office and comfortable working in a detailed computer system.
Candidate must be self-motivated and display initiative to get tasks completed effectively, efficiently, and timely.
Candidate must have strong written and communication skills. The most successful candidates thrive working in a team-oriented environment both as a participant and leader.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
