Quality Engineer (Level 2) supporting the
F-35 program, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring product integrity, enhancing processes, and driving continuous improvement across the lifecycle of the world's most advanced fighter aircraft.
What You Will Be DoingIn this role, you will:
• Apply quality principles across design, production control, product evaluation, reliability, and inventory control to ensure compliance for make and/or buy products.
• Perform technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, designs, drawings, and procedures.
• Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to resolve quality-related issues and ensure standards are met.
• Conduct product failure investigations, material review board decisions, and corrective/preventive action implementation.
• Develop strategies to improve internal and supplier performance, productivity, and compliance.
• Evaluate quality systems, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions.
• Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, perform statistical analyses, and address non-compliant products or materials.
• Participate in the supplier selection process and maintain certification programs to uphold quality standards.

Global Diversity and Inclusion.This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.Basic Qualifications:• Experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, production operations, &/ or aerospace maintenance.
• Experience in identifying and documenting quality deficiencies and ensuring effective corrective action.
• Experience reading &/or interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience providing data driven solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Desired Skills:• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Specific experience with the F-35 aircraft or other 5th generation platform.
• High energy, self-starting, team player who achieves goals.
• Communication experience in order to influence others in a concise, data driven manner.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
