Description:Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a full-time experienced engineer to support Fighter System Safety engineering. The candidate will develop and maintain System Safety engineering requirements definition. Researches, plans, and analyzes hardware and software designs for impacts to system safety. Performs safety risk assessments and recommend mitigation actions to acceptable levels in coordination with Airworthiness and Chief Engineer. Assures safe maintenance and operation of products. Analyzes modifications for effect on system safety. Maintains system safety assessment data and metrics.
Basic Qualifications:
Engineering degree in engineering discipline or STEM related program
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Knowledge of Statistical Analysis Methods
Aircraft Systems Safety Engineering experience
Knowledge of FAA and military regulations and processes
Knowledge of MIL-STD-882

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
