Job Summary:
Trane Technologies is hiring a Operations Manager in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. In this role, you will coordinate the day-to-day activities of production workers to ensure that manufacturing operations run according to established production specifications and standards. The Manufacturing Manager plays a vital role in ensuring department is run effectively with priority on safety and quality by supervising the daily activities of production staff.
Responsibilities:
Oversee staff of 3 professionals for the following:

Production Management of 150 to 250 production associates

Ensure adherence to all quality standards in processes and products
-
Developing core manufacturing competencies for plant
-
Implementing new products and new production processes
-
Maintaining and driving quality management system
-
Creating a collaborative environment of trust and respect
-
Ensuring manufacturing and administrative processes are meeting all customer needs
-
Support development and maintaining world class safety environment/results
-
Create and support a culture of using Lean processes for continuous improvement
-
Ensuring established goals are met in the time required and measuring progress against same
-
Involvement in all human resource matters affecting Operations personnel
-
Participate and coach problem solving and Rapid Improvement Events.

Responsible for Ideation events to leverage labor productivity projects
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus.

3+ years of leadership experience
-
LEAN / Six Sigma experience
