The Supervisor Accounts Receivable provides direct support for day-to-day managing of Cash Applications (Accounts Receivable) staff for the processing of cash application functions while maintaining service levels. They ensure accurate and timely processing in all areas during business-critical time periods for mid-month discounts, customer statement and month-end deadlines. The Supervisor will develop, train and mentor direct reports in the accurate processing of cash application transactions.
What You Will Do:
- Coordinate the daily activities of the Cash Application department to ensure the efficient processing of cash application while maintaining service levels.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing in all areas to include mid-month discounts, statement and month-end deadlines.
- Develop, train and mentor direct reports in the accurate processing of cash application transactions.
- Interact with multiple levels of management within Shared Services and operating companies.
- Assist the Director in the determination of policies and procedures for Cash Application.
- Implement policies and procedures with direct reports and supported operating companies.
- Support Accounting and operating companies with internal/external audit data requests.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, education, organizational development, or related field
- 4+ years of Accounts Receivable/Customer Service
- Prior Supervisor experience with strong leadership skills
- Experience processing in a high volume, multi branch company environment
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Experience with leading a team/project.
- Knowledgeable with aspects of employee development including needs assessment.
- Ability to learn and adapt to emerging technologies with minimal guidance.
- Strong technology skills in Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Comfortable working in the Maitland office on a regular basis
- Eclipse experience is a plus
