Leidos Health Group has an opening for a Device Management Technician to support the Military and Family Life Counseling (MFLC) Program. This program delivers non-medical counseling services provided by licensed counselors to military service members and their families at over 125 military installations across several countries.
- This position will be ONSITE in Knoxville, TN.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist the Device Team Manager by managing IT devices, navigating procedural and policy boundaries to conduct on-site inventory of devices across the enterprise, identifying and removing obstacles to the completion of device inventories, following established procedures for the decommissioning of IT devices, and managing supplies.
Assist in the development of the program device management plan, processes, and procedures.
Assist in the management and maintenance of the program’s authoritative Device Management Database.
Gather detailed hardware and software inventory information to develop and maintain an effective device management program.
Provide subject matter expertise for program devices.
Join financial, contractual, and inventory functions in support of new material purchases and capital equipment replacement.
Maintain processes for managing and tracking the full IT device, license, and maintenance life cycle, from procurement to retirement.
Define, maintain, and update policies and procedures for effective management of the IT device life cycle (e.g., acquisition, deployment, utilization, de-installation, reallocation, and disposal).
Track and maintain an accurate inventory of devices throughout their life cycle.
Audit, validate, and reconcile software licenses against the installed device base.
Plan for the population of the device database and manage the device database.
Work closely with the quality team to ensure policy compliance and device maintenance.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and/or 2-4 years of prior relevant experience and 4 years of additional experience required instead of degree.
In-depth knowledge of Managing devices as a Primary Hand Receipt holder.
Experience managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Strong organization, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to establish effective working relationships with senior-level customers, technical staff, managers, and peers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency with data management principles.
Background in cross-functional team collaboration and briefing different audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Logistics background
IT & familiarity with IOS systems and mobile devices
Military experience, including Military Spouses, Veterans, or past DoD experience strongly desired

Pay Range $39,000.00 - $70,500.00
