What does a successful Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer do at Fiserv?
You will be part of a dynamic team that builds the Marketplace Boarding platform, designed to deliver innovations through simple and fast integrations. This platform features developer-friendly, flexible communication standards, unified APIs, and integrations with multiple systems within and outside Fiserv. You will be responsible to develop and manage automation testing scripts for the application, prepare automated solutions using the existing framework, and make changes to adapt to new requirements.
What you will do:
- Develop automation test scripts for end-to-end testing of payment APIs and UI applications
- Perform manual and automated regression testing
- Analyze new enhancement requests and prepare functional and non-functional test scenarios
- Develop performance test plans and execute them to identify problem areas in this highly scalable application
- Lead and participate in test planning and quality review sessions
- Perform testing activities such as planning, design, scripting, execution, debugging, and reporting tasks
- Monitor and execute automation test activities
- Demonstrate a firm understanding of QA processes within Agile Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies
What you need to have:
- 6+ years of UI Automation testing experience using Protractor, Selenium, or WebdriverIO
- 3+ years of experience building an automation framework from initiation through end-to-end testing
- 3+ years API testing experience using Postman or REST Assured
- 3+ years of experience coding in Java or JavaScript, and SQL queries
- 3+ years of experience with TestNG or Cucumber
- 3+ years of experience with Source control, GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, Gitlab and BitBucket
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education, work experience or military experience
